Responsible for company owned tool and equipment tracking in tracking software (Hilti on!Track). Works to improve accuracy and efficiency of requisition fulfillment and tool tracking process. Maintain appropriate inventory levels to ensure sufficient supply of tools and equipment to meet job site need. Assist accounting and field supervision in accurate allocation of job cost and invoicing to customers. Provides general administrative support to warehouse team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Data Entry of all company owned tools and equipment into tracking software. Check tools in and out of database per job site requisitions.
- Respond to requests for information for billing and invoicing. Troubleshoot and correct errors and discrepancies to ensure accurate invoicing to customers.
- Create and process approved purchase orders for new tools and equipment. Work with vendors on placing orders.
- Create and assign identification numbers and labels for adding new tools and equipment into inventory.
- Determine if damaged and broken tools and equipment should be repaired or removed from inventory. Work with Assets Manager and vendors for repair or pickup of tools and equipment.
- Respond to requests for service and assistance from the Tool Room management
- Perform general office duties such as making copies, creating reports, filing documents, shipping and answering phones as needed.
- Maintain communication with internal and external customers via phone and email as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- Construction or tools and equipment experience required.
- Experience with Hilti ON!Track preferred
- Knowledge of all Microsoft Suite programs
Skillset:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to handle multiple tasks including follow-up details within strict deadlines and react well under pressure
- Ability to be flexible and adapt to changes as necessary
