About the Role:
First line of support for all End Users company wide. Assist and satisfy End User IT needs as necessary to enable them to perform their duties. This encompasses all facets of IT related issues.
Essential Duties
• Hardware Support - Responsible for end user hardware in the company. Set up new machines to Cleveland specifications and deploy them accordingly. Maintain current “production” machines (desktops, workstations, laptops) by troubleshooting issues and repairing or replacing faulty parts keeping downtime to a minimum. Handle vendor warranty repair issues.
• Software Support - Responsible for installing and configuring required software applications for field and office users. Requires extensive knowledge of the individual software applications used by Cleveland and how they integrate with the infrastructure.
• Mobile Device Management - Deploy, troubleshoot and maintain the company’s fleet of mobile devices (iPhones, iPads, etc.) using the established MDM platform.
• Network Administration - Maintain user password changes as required.
• Jobsite Support - Work closely with Project Managers to support remote jobsite mobilization. After the initial set up, responsible for troubleshooting issues at the site. If remote administration is not possible, arrange to travel to the site to resolve any issues.
• Hardware Re-Deployment - Evaluate IT equipment that is returned to the IT Department. Sanitize data on the equipment and repair if necessary to use for future deployment.
• Organize and maintain the IT lab and storage areas.
• Maintain an inventory of all IT related equipment and software installation media.
• Responsible for selecting replacement components to be purchased to always keep “in stock” so they are available immediately to minimize End User “down time” in the event of hardware failure.
• Assist in the training of End Users on new technologies and applications.
Qualifications
• Education and/or Experience - Bachelor's degree in a related Computer Science or Information Technology track and minimum two years related technical experience required, preferably in a helpdesk environment.
• Computer Skills - To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Windows OS, Microsoft Office 365, and Apple iOS. Must be familiar with desktop, laptop, cell phones and tablets.
• Language Skills - Strong written, oral, and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to communicate with internal staff. Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Reasoning Ability - Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions with several abstract and concrete variables.
• Transportation – Must have reliable transportation (vehicle) as this job requires occasional and unplanned visits to remote sites and warehouse locations. Competencies • Problem Solving - Aptitude for troubleshooting and continuous learning/research to resolve issues.
• Customer Service - Manages difficult or emotional customer situations. Professionally responds to requests for service and assistance in a timely manner.
• Teamwork – Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Physical Demands
• The employee is regularly required to stand, walk; sit; use hands and fingers; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk and hear.
• The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
