About the Role:
As a Safety Manager you will play a key role in developing, assessing, and maintaining policies and procedures that helps to reduce risk and keep employees safe from harm in the workplace. Safety managers provide training and guidance for workers and ensure that the workplace is in compliance with OSHA regulations.
In this Role You Will:
• Identify hazards and eliminating or coordination of mitigating hazards utilizing hierarchy of controls
• Make frequent tours of the worksite observing work processes and procedures while engaging employees, correcting safety deficiencies, and coaching
• Create daily safety reports documenting observations and noting any actions to be corrected
• Inspect and audit JSAs
• Perform monthly audit such as, Rigging Inspection, Fall Protection Inspection, Assured Grounding Inspection, Temporary Power GFCI Inspection, and ARC Flash PPE Inspection
• Produce weekly Toolbox Topics relevant to jobsite's activities
• Conduct orientations and training
• Handle accident and incident investigations
• Responsible for case management

Education/Experience:
- 5+ years of industrial construction
- OSHA 30, 510
- Knowledge of State and Local Codes, CFR 29, 1926, & NFPA 70E
- Ability to conduct incident investigations and determine root causes
- Proficient with computers, phones, and other office equipment
- Strong interpersonal, organization, multi-tasking, and time management skills
- Strong internal and external communication skills including verbal, written, presentational, and active listening
- A positive attitude! You have the ability to manage a team and properly train a team
- A High School Diploma or equivalent
