Description

Summary: Responsible for designing and drafting 3D models of mechanical pipe systems for coordination and field installed, fabricated pipe, for various types of construction projects.
 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Able to read and understand Construction Documents and identify design errors and other deficiencies. May contribute and or assist in design-build projects
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems, function and design
  • Ability to model mechanical and process pipe and use best practices to produce accurate models and create section and details of mechanical equipment for the projects
  • Coordinate model with design teams and subcontractors
  • Produce Shop along with Spool and Tag drawings for fabricated installed pipe
  • Ability to produce material take-off’s, RFI’s, and understand pipe specifications
  • Participate in coordination meetings with BIM Lead

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in BIM
  • Minimum of 3 years Revit experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of CAD and or CADMEP Fabrication 2018 and higher
