Summary: Responsible for designing and drafting 3D models of electrical systems for coordination, fabrication and field install for various types of construction projects.
 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Able to read and understand Construction Documents and identify design errors and other deficiencies. May contribute and or assist in design-assist projects.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, function and design.
• Ability to model electrical raceways and equipment and use best practices to produce accurate models.
• Create sections and details for field installation of all systems and equipment.
• Coordinate model with design teams and subcontractors.
• Produce Shop along with Spool and Tag drawings for fabricated installed conduit.
• Ability to produce material take-off’s, RFI’s, and understand electrical specifications.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in VDC/BIM
• Minimum of 2 years Revit MEP experience
• Minimum of 2 years of Autocad
